The passing of time is very rapid and keeps marching on. We are living in a world of extras and it is changing like duets and winds. The wind of change is blowing everywhere. We can see and touch the throbe of the world with our finger tips. The developments in the technology have made our life smooth, fast and comfortable. We have to keep pace with the recent developments in information technology.

Sacred Heart Girls Higher secondary School in Thalassery has already borne the heat of 123 years of outstanding service to the people of this town. Never before in the history of Thalassery had the people known such dedication and commitment to the cause of personal development of solid principles in our youth, who have passed successfully through this institute. We are concerned not only in the all-round development of every student but we are also trying to sensitize them to the social dimension of education , a dimension which is of special importance today.

It is indeed a matter of great joy for me that our school , an esteemed institution run by the sisters of Apostolic Carmel Congregation with a lot of glorious credentials in academic and extra –curricular activities is launching its website.

I extend my sincere gratitude to those who have contributed to make this venture a success and hope that the website will be useful for our students , parents, staff and all the well-wishers of this institution. I also feel that this website will be like a “coming back home” to many of our former students.

May the solid traditions established in the past be further built upon, so that Sacred Heart Girls’ Higher secondary School continues to offer to all an opportunity to live creatively and to make this world a better place.
