Children are given special seminars and talks to mould their character. We are trying to help the poor children who are the marginalized in the society with the help of generous parents.
There is not even a faintest shadow of doubt that a school should give more importance to the academic progress of the students but it is not advisable to see the physical condition of the school with a closed eye. We have no fear about the academic progress of our students since we have a dedicated, well-experienced team of teachers, but we are afraid of the physical condition of our school building. The need for the re-construction of our deteriorating, 125 years old, school building has been discussed on many occasions. Our building, more than a century old, is not according to the order of Kerala Education Rules. Government has ordered to re-construct all the pre-KER school buildings by 2009. Moreover our school is facing much difficulty due to lack of enough class rooms to conduct Dance, Music, Yoga Classes and we have no place for students to have their lunch. We also have no Auditorium/Hall to conduct simple functions, get-together, meetings etc. Since we have no enough classrooms, we are unable to get permission for plus two courses.
Now we have received permission to re-construct the building, for which a reasonable fund has to be raised. Hence we appeal to the parents of the present students of our school to contribute generously at least Rs.5,000/- or more, if possible, to fulfill this noble task. It is not a figure of speech but literally and practically true that we hope you all would rise to the occasion and act accordingly.
I take this opportunity to thank the P T A, Teaching and No- teaching staff, all the students for everything. I sincerely hope and pray in the coming years SacredHeart will grow from strength to strength in all realms of our endeavour. May God bless you all.
